How Do I Organise A Balloon Race?
1. Pick a date and phone the Police and CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) to apply for permission. (Depending on the size his can take up to 28 days to be granted)
2. Tell us your date and we'll prepare your kit. If you've selected the 'staffed' package we'll only send out to you the race labels.
3. Get local business to sponsor the race and provide a prize.
4. Start selling your tickets!
5. Promote your Balloon race anyway you can

Terms & Conditions
- These terms & conditions are in addition to the ones stated on our terms & conditions page.
- A £75 deposit is required against the rental of the helium cylinder and balloon release net. The £50 deposit will be released as soon as the items have been returned and checked by Bubble & Squeak. Any loss of or damage to the items incurred during the event will be paid for by the hirer.
- Event is subject to permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The civil aviation authority can be contacted on 020 7453 6599
- It is the hirer's responsibility to obtain permission for the balloon release. A copy of the approval from the CAA will need to be given to Bubble & Squeak prior to the balloon release.
- Our staff are not permitted to handle monies for balloon races. It is the hirer's responsibility to sell the balloons on the day.
- Bubble & Squeak will not refund any monies in the event that all the balloons are not sold.
- Should the event be cancelled due to adverse weather we will allow the booking to be moved to an alternate date. No refunds will be given.
- Bubble & Squeak are not liable for any damage, injury or lawsuit that arises from failure to adhere to the general instructions and health & safety policies outlined to the hirer at the time of booking. The hirer will indemnify Bubble & Squeak against any unforeseen costs incurred or legal action arising from damage, injury or lawsuit from failure to adhere to the general instructions and health & safety policies outlined to the hirer at the time of booking
- Any monies paid will be forfeited in the event of cancellation for any reason other than cancellation arising due to adverse weather.
- Bubble & Squeak reserve the right to cancel your booking and refund any monies paid without explanation and will not be liable for any costs incurred to the hirer in this eventuality.
